What cookies and storage GatorTec uses, when they're set, and how to control them.

This page describes the cookies and browser storage the gatortec.com website may use, and when they're set. It complements our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we collect and how we handle it.

Short version: No cookies are set before you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, we honour that on every page you visit and every time you come back, until you clear your browser data.

Other things that load only after Accept

Some services we use don't set cookies but do send a request to a third party. We only load these after you click Accept:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — sends the page URL and a per-pageload ID to cloudflareinsights.com. No cookies, no personal info. Used to see aggregate traffic.
  • Google Tag Manager (www.googletagmanager.com) — loads as part of the Google Analytics bootstrap.
  • Google DoubleClick (stats.g.doubleclick.net) — a downstream request from GA4's default configuration. We have allow_google_signals: false and allow_ad_personalization_signals: false set, so it's not used for personalized advertising by us, but the request still occurs and we disclose it here for transparency.

What we do not do

  • We do not use behavioural advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.
  • We do not use session replay, mouse-heatmap, or session-recording tools.
  • We do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy.
  • We do not fire any analytics or advertising tag before you click Accept.

Strictly necessary services

These load without a consent prompt because the site can't work without them:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — bot and fraud protection on our contact and enrollment forms. Loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com on those pages only.
  • Cloudflare hosting — the site is served through Cloudflare's edge network; your request to gatortec.com is routed through their infrastructure to reach us.

How to change your choice

You can change your analytics opt-in at any time on the Privacy Policy page, or click Cookie preferences in the site footer to bring the banner back.

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser — every modern browser supports this in its settings. Doing so is respected by us: our consent gate reads the browser's storage, so if there's nothing stored, the banner will reappear and no analytics will load until you choose again.

Do Not Track

Do Not Track (DNT) is a browser signal without a settled industry standard, and GatorTec does not currently key off DNT specifically. Our banner-based opt-out is the authoritative control.

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookies policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in a notice.
